BLACKDOG is a small artisan style cabinetry furniture shop serving Victoria and the Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Canada since 1998. It is owned and operated by Tim David who has been in the cabinet/carpentry trade since 1990. He holds a journeyman ticket and has extensive experience in residential renovations and custom cabinet construction/installation. He specializes in period kitchens, baths, furniture and wide plank flooring. Designing building and installing each piece one at a time. He combines the latest innovations with traditional styling, blending functionality for today’s requirements with form while remaining realistically priced.

All pieces are constructed of solid & ply-wood with inset panel doors, dovetailed drawers and exposed decorative hinges. Wooden counter tops and locally milled square nailed wide plank flooring are also available to give a complete traditional look. Existing kitchens refaced with end panels, face framed doors, baseboards and crown mouldings give your modern European kitchen a high end furniture style custom finish at a fraction of the cost.

Specialty paint finishes, reclaimed wood, hardware and doors are used when specified.

BLACKDOG has no sales people, preferring to meet, talk and advise, working closely with your ideas, allowing the vision you have for your home to become a reality.
